A total of 3 specimens is required, which can be obtained from a single blood draw. Please follow the recommended guidelines and preparation as listed in the included instructions.
Whole Blood Specimen
Ship immediately for overnight delivery at ambient temperature (20°C–25°C) or with a cold gel pack (4°C, not frozen) during summer conditions. Store at 4°C until ready to ship.

- Perform venipuncture using your institution's recommended procedure (see CLSI Guidelines GP41Ed7 for more info).
- Hold the collection tube vertically below the donor's arm during blood collection.
- Allow at least 10 seconds for a complete blood draw to take place.
- Ensure that the blood has stopped flowing into the tube before removing the tube from the holder.
Gently invert each tube 8 times. Adhere barcode label with collection date and DOB to each tube before packing.
Serum Specimen
Ship immediately for overnight delivery at ambient temperature (20°C–25°C) or with a cold gel pack (4°C, not frozen) during summer conditions. Store at 4°C until ready to ship.

Gently invert tube 5 times. Do not shake. Allow blood to clot thoroughly before centrifugation, with a minimum time of 30 minutes and no more than 60 minutes. Tubes should be incubated upright to complete the clotting process. Centrifuge for 15 minutes at 1,000–1,300 RCF (g) at room temperature (15°C–25°C). Transfer the cleared serum to the serum transfer tube provided and adhere the barcode label with collection date and DOB before packing.

Reporting & Results
A one-page report indicates either abnormal or normal findings, allowing physicians to quickly determine the next step of care.

Indicates a higher likelihood that HCC is present — a surveillance result, not a stand-alone diagnosis.
